ICP Firing Event

The Orbital Transfer Firing (OTF) of the ESS Queen Elizabeth II did not go as planned. There is no more information at this time. The crew and ground personnel are currently reviewing the situation and determining if the mission is threatened. The ESS QE II is at escape velocity and will pass by the Moon tonight between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM tonight.

If the mission is aborted it would take about a week to return to Earth.
